Christmas Home Tour

I may be a little late sharing my holiday décor considering Christmas Day is less than a week away, but hey, better late than never!!

I was so excited to decorate this year given the updates we have done since last Christmas. Our main floor and living area feels so much more modern and fresh! I kept things simple incorporating neutrals, golds and natural greens to the space.

I decided to get a real tree again this year and am so glad we did!

I found these simple garlands with flocked greenery, pinecones and "snow balls" at the dollar store and added some battery operated lights. All of the gold accessories are pieces I have collected over the years. The only other new addition is the 'Eat, Drink & Be Merry' sign from Michael's

I continued the neutrals and greens throughout the kitchen adding some fresh greenery and burlap in places.

Bright whites and natural accents in the upstairs bathroom

Downstairs I incorporated red into my décor, adding more rustic and classic Christmas touches.

All of the pieces below I found at the dollar store! They didn't fit with my neutral décor upstairs but each of them found a place in our basement tv room. This room is not exactly picture worthy but I wanted to share my dollar store scores! $10 well spent :)

I made my own outdoor planter using fresh greens from the local nursery (I wish I could gather my own). I have collected items over the years from previous planters to add to my arrangement including decorative sticks and stems, dogwood branches, large pinecones and birch branches. This is so much cheaper than purchasing an arrangement and I love doing it!

Each year I have so much fun decorating and always dread the end of the season when it is time for it to all come down. I wait until after New Year's but it still doesn't seem long enough!!

If you need me, I will be cuddled up on the couch with Poppy and some hot chocolate, enjoying the view. Happy Holidays !!
