It seems hard to believe it is already the end of my favourite month!! For my fall & Thanksgiving décor I typically stick with neutrals while incorporating some seasonal colours like amber and mustards into the mix. In preparation for Halloween, I have replaced some of my "leaf" colours with classic black and orange.
I added orange baby boo pumpkins to my collection of white along with black and white throw pillows. I keep thinks reasonably simple, just adding touches of décor to the mantle, sofa table and my bar top.
I picked up some seasonal napkins on clearance at the end of last fall from James Street Home Décor here in Port Stanley. I added some black and white striped and polka dotted straws to my orange ones along with a "Trick of Treat" print and of course a baby boo.
I won't be carving any pumpkins this year or handing out candy as I am working late on October 31. I did buy some Halloween candy to enjoy for myself and plan to watch my favourite festive movie- Hocus Pocus! I love all of the festive shows on TV right now and we are going to a Halloween dance this weekend. Gotta love the dollar store for inexpensive, last minute costumes. I picked up bunny ears and a tail along with a top hat so we are going as a magician and his rabbit :)
